MG ZS Hybrid price in Pakistan has been officially confirmed as the company launched the second-generation ZS on July 29, introducing three variants that split the lineup between a conventional petrol model and two hybrid trims.

The new range consists of the MG ZS Vibe, a petrol-only base variant priced at Rs 6,599,000, the MG ZS Hybrid+ Excite at Rs 7,099,000, and the range-topping MG ZS Hybrid+ Essence at Rs 7,499,000. Bookings are open across all three variants with a booking amount of Rs 1.2 million.

The Hybrid+ models mark MG’s first attempt at a self-charging hybrid powertrain in the ZS nameplate, producing 158 kW of power and 465 Nm of torque, with a claimed driving range of up to 940 kilometres. The base Vibe variant sticks to a naturally aspirated petrol engine rated at 80 kW and 142 Nm, paired with an 8-speed CVT transmission. Both the Hybrid+ Excite and Hybrid+ Essence share the same hybrid powertrain, with the Essence distinguished mainly by a higher features count aimed at buyers wanting the fully loaded version.

Buyers can choose from five exterior colours, including York White, Cosmic Silver, Clever Grey, Flare Red and Black Pearl, along with a choice of dark or light interior themes.

The new ZS Hybrid+ enters a segment that has grown increasingly competitive in Pakistan. On the hybrid side, it will go up against the Jaecoo J5, Haval Jolion, Honda HR-V e:HEV, Suzuki Fronx Mild Hybrid and Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. The non-hybrid ZS Vibe, meanwhile, will compete in the standard subcompact SUV space against the Peugeot 2008 and non-hybrid trims of the HR-V, Fronx, Corolla Cross and Jolion.

This marks the first major update to the ZS since it debuted in Pakistan in 2019 as a 1.5-litre petrol crossover, before MG later added a fully electric variant to the lineup. With the second generation, the company has widened the ZS’s footprint considerably, offering buyers a genuine choice between petrol and hybrid power for the first time under a single model name.
